Does ToPaste require an account?

No separate ToPaste account is required for normal use. The app may use your iCloud availability and an anonymous CloudKit user identifier for trial management and optional sync.

Where is clipboard data stored?

Clipboard history is stored locally on the user's Mac by default. If iCloud sync is enabled, synced items are stored in the user's iCloud/CloudKit environment managed by Apple.
